VP wearing daura surwal is called damage-control. I don't think he will apologize for taking the oath in Hindi. If you think about it, Hindi is the francophone among the Madesh areas. That was his logic behind taking his oath in Hindi, and I think the man has persistence written all over him; so he won't be apologizing.

The protests in Nepal clearly indicate a diversion from the current political situation. Nepal has been under a gridlock for politics, because Nepal does not have a government yet. In this transition period, the YCL has found another reason for the danga fasaad, which has become the habit to the political parties of Nepal. Habits are not changed overnight, so don't expect Nepal Bandhs, and tire-burning to stop overnight. Nepal is in the state of anarchy right now. Peace and stability will only return with time.

And Nepalese will be patient. We always are.
