What I don't understand is what is this need for you to make believe on what you believe?

In hinduism, god has totally different meaning than in Abrahmic religion. In abrahmic religion god is well defined, well presented, all powerful personality living somewhere in sky. God is like a top bureaucrat who records all the deeds of men on earth and calculates whether he is to be allowed to be in Heaven or in Hell for eternity. This whole system rests on belief system based on one book (which is the only right book and rest are all crap), and only one awakened man to reveal the truth. So basically it starts from that one book and ends on the same book. it is completely enclosed and perfect so it must be dead as well.

In hinduism there is no god ( The word god has no relation with bhagban, ishwor, debata, and so on) and god is absolutely useless as it goes completely against the concept of Karma and Maya.

In a way , Abrahamic religion is belief system and hinduism is a question (enquery) turned inward to go beyond the limit of the mind itself, finally to meet the ultimate truth that questioner and question being raised are the same (Maya) leading to the collapse of the center (ego) ,which we feel as me or I separating us from the rest, known as mokchha or nirvan. at the point of the mokchha or nirvan there is no division, there is no god or man or anything else, every thing and nothing is same and meaningless. There is no such thing as One or Many at that point as both notions come into existence from the comparison.
