Maoist lawmaker Salikram Jamakattel suggested not supporting capitalist, but the workers and the landless. He is also the chief of a Maoist aligned trade union. (any media can write against them !)
Activists of Maoist affiliated All Nepal Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union (ANHRWU) and All Nepal Communication, Printing and Publications Workers' Union (ANCPPWU) vandalised the Himal Media office this afternoon and attacked the employees injuring about a dozen journalists and staffers.

Welcome to New Nepal guys.
Ashu dai,
I hope you are not seriusoly injured or wounded. Well, this in some ways was quite obvious. I mean, these Naya Nepali-ists are quite dangerous, and Himal was attacked at least 2 times already. This time, its gone too far. Today its you and your organization, tomorrow it could be anyone.
I think the minister said something like his party has nothing to do with it. MP says his party has everything to do with it. K ho k ho? But again, this being Nepal people at fisrt admit and then deny their involvement all the time.
Anyways dai, I can go on and on and when you have time let's meet.

Finally Good News coming from Nepal! After all, these "SLC Third Division" journalists were the one who supported Maoists to bring Monarchy an end. Now, go and pray with your God Krishna Mahara--the communication chief--to urge for security. We all know, it is not your pen, it is the Maoists pen who forces you to write against Nepali integrity. I wish Nepal had more journalists who were excluded from the class of "III Division"--the qualifier to be a Nepali journalist. It was easy to write against King because he did not have "Punch" (as the Indian Dixit said", neither used Guns. Counter with guns now prove how strong your pen is.

Before Nepal can develop, it has to go rock bottom.. you know, an old old house can not be operated tyring to do maintainence works all the time.. it reached to such a state that you have to bulldoze the house... turn it into rubble, then begin a fresh start by building a new one... Same with Nepal... there is no other alternate, first shatter Nepal into rubble... then begin new Nepal.. don't fugging start from middle.... So , journalists.. if you think just voicing your protest peacefully you can change the Nepal.. forget it.. never gonna happen.. These Maoists came to power from guns and violence, killing your fellow Nepalese brothers.. so you think your shouting and writing gonna change them.. hell NO.. Go and Kill that bastard Prachanda.. Baburam.. Mahara and Pahara.. then only you can achive something.. scarifice your life.. if you care about Nepal.. otherwise.. merely writing articles in your papers not gonna do any shit. They know that you guys are making money selling those papers.. they want share too. They know that you guys are not all for peace or better Nepal.. All people in Nepal are mentally sick.. they want to earn something.. they dont' think about others.. whether be politicians, armty, police, people or you journalists.. You all nepalese are fugging country.. That's why you all nepalese shoudl be chased out of country... padlock the country.. Then after 10 years open that fugging padlock.. and being new Nepal.. Patheitic Nepalese... you are all losers.. ha ha

This is what happens when one lacks foresight. All these media supported the ouster of Gyanendra to bring Koirala to absolute power. All these media supported the election to Constituent Assembly. All these media supported the nefarious idea of Ferderalism. Now see what has happend. We have Talibans ruling the country. We have a white elephant named CA. We are on the verge of losing Terai to India. Its only a matter of time Nepal will be confined to Kathmandu Valley.

They are already enjoying 10 hours of no electricity life.... they are cripled like useless bunch of mad people in Nepal.. ha ha. These nepelase are DOOMED.. India will soon fulfill their wishlist.... Prachanda brahman is ready to help India for this. So are other political leaders of various parties.. apparantly all these politicians of all parties are receiving GHUS money from Indian Embassy one way or another... they are damn loyal to India.. they are like puppies of India.. And Nepalese are puppies of these leaders.. Nepalese neither have guts not sense... they are like bhedas.. they follow these leaders silently without asking a question.. they dance to the tunes of leaders.. and the leaders dance in the indian tunes. Media houses.. ha ha.. one way or other, they are also fed like dogs by India... HIMAL PUBLISHING HOuse?// ha ha.. what a joke eh? They too are fed by indian shits. You don't believe? Go and ask Ashu..... he recieves money from indians.. too.. ask him... these patrakars of Nepal are the most idiots selfish.. they serve nothing to people of Nepal.. they are screwing Nepalese as much as the leaders of poltical parties... Maoists are the climax though.. they will dismantle the country ro rubble... they will make the sale of Nwpal FINAL. Advance Congratualtions to all idiot Nepalese. You nepalese do not deserve a Country.. you guys are only eligible for the Slavery.

It was nice going through different opinions about why things happens or happened in Nepal. Some are of the view that Newsmedia are not an independent media and are always doing propoganda and anti-national activities by working for Indian Embassy et al. Some were of the views that they are targeted because they support a particular party and denounce all the activities of another party. No matter what side you are one, if we have democracy we should get our chance to express our feelings whether independent or biased. That is called Press Freedom, as far as i know. Political parties are same/shame no matter what it is. we are blaming these fugging Maoists for thier misdeed but at the same time "Girjau ka Murkha santan haru" are burning cars, jeeep, private vehicles in a broad daylight. They used to burn tyres but now they are burning the whole cars. Unbelievable. Thas why ved555 dai thinks things has to go rock bottom before building one. ( No comments on that). If we believe kanchabhai that maoists are going to be buried out of thier own deeds than, its time tohave a sip of "local tharra" and sukuti and enjoy. I think to take the words of the then home minister "Krishna Sitoula", country is going through the transition phase and things like these happens". To quote him again, "we should not be worried but optimistic of the future. Because future is ours. Nepali Press Freedom should prevail always. Long live press freedom. Long live people of Nepal. PLHSKRG. Pashupatinath le hami sabaiko kalyan garoon.

Biharis must be happy that they have got Lalu Prasad Yadhav in their state, not Maoists led Government (like in Nepal).
You all maoists supporters must be happy and espically so called Mr. well educated (like Dr. B. Bhattarai) brother Uttam Babu Shrestha.

Abusing India doesn't make any sense anymore. Nepal has been a fertile playing ground of Indian smugglers, underworld and ISI for a long time so no wonder Nepal has a become a big headache for India. Recently, Fareed Zakaria wrote in Newsweek that there will be three superpowers in the future - India, China and USA. If India indeed becomes a superpower in two-three decades then who would not want to become its citizen?

Nepe has been a full time supporter of maoists all along. I had warned him and a few others many times that it's good to be optimistic but putting any hope on Maoists is just plain stupidity. Now time has proven that Nepe and other maoist supporters who had hope in maoists are nothing but fools. They called me rajabadi for trying to warn against maoists. Nepe is wondering why citizens are quiet. Citizens are quiet because self appointed politicians like you had given them hope that maybe maoist will do something better for them. Now that their priorities are out in the public, there is no doubt that all their hopes are flushed down the drain. The blood of 15,000 is still fresh in the Maoist and they don't hesitate to flow some more in broad daylight as shown by this incident. People like Nepe are responsible for these maoist actions. Gone are the days when a pen was mightier than the sword. Today it's the keyboard that stands in competition with the swords and guns. Can the keyboard make any difference? It's time to call out a mass gathering outside singha durbar to show public solidiarity against maoist anti democratic practices. It's time to get people in the streets. If noone comes out now, the future of our beloved country is doomed.

I have now no doubt in my mind that journalists' associated with the Himal Media and the team itself lacks the full force to condemn such vehement attack that occurred in broad day light. To me, there is no distinction in this event and the broad day light robbery. Listen to today's bbc nepali service and you will assured by comment of Mr.Kattel on what I argue here. The activities of their(Maoist) sister organizations are not only planned with the knowledge but condoned by the leadership. Otherwise, it is not difficult to see how this type of brazen, shameless act can continue without anyone being punished and despite being repeatedly denied by the top leadership. This can only mean that the top leadership is clearly nurturing the idea of suppression, oppression and using any means necessary to hit at anyone who do not agree with them.
Do we still believe that this culture of bullying and seemingly going against the party's leadership is anything but their(Maoists') hidden agenda? They clearly want to show that there is a transition phase and some cost associated while transforming their party cadres. But this is only as we say in nepali - haati ko khaney daat euta huncha, dekhauney arko. The leadership clearly has the mandate to approve any such atrocity by labeling a populist agenda (such as workers' right in this case) to such act. While people argue for concrete pressure on the leadership, it is clear that the blame should be squarely placed where it belongs, i.e. on the shoulder of top leadership. It is high time we make it clear to people on what these people and their ideology represent.
