Looks like phone line was open yesterday from 9 pm to 11 pm for 2 hours.

Royal palace does have VSAT. VSAT license was restricted before 1998.
Among First to get VSAT where Royal Nepal Army, Royal Palace.
Mercantile, WDN , wlink were among first private companies to get VSAT link.
Since that many companies has VSAT link.

and ofcourse, UN, US embassy etc already had VSAT link from long time back.

If some one find out about open tel line please post message here so we can contact our family back home during that open window
