hey guys!
how are Loyola University and Depaul University in Chicago for a general MBA program. I got a bare 550 on my GMAT, 2 years of work experience as an accountant for a very small company and have an undergrad GPA of 3.3 on bus. mgmt from a mediocre state univ. what are my chances if any? Suggestions on other better options are welcome. Help out folks.

I guess DePaul has a better bussiness program than Loyala. So, I would assume getting into DePaul's MBA program will be more difficult compared to Loyala. Are you thinking about full-time or part-time MBA? DePaul has a highly ranked part-time MBA program. If you can get accepted at both schools, I would pick DePaul over Loyala. You can also check out MBA program at North Park University (as a back up) if you are thinking about doing MBA in Chicago.

thanks yakku. I'm aiming for full-time MBA, even leaning a bit towards full-time MSA or MAcc if i can get a bit of a better shot at a better school. I'm also willing to relocate anywhere in the US. I'll look into North Park prorgram as well. Any others?

houston is a good place to live. you can join universty of houston-clear lake. it is an average university. you might even get scholarship since there are not much students from nepal, dont forget to apply on time. lots of indian students, so easy to study.
