What sells is Mt. Everest! Nepal needs to build a tunnel highway to Naamche bazaar. And, the highway would be about 25-30 km from the nearest Midhill highway. Although building 30 km highway is not a big deal in the other part of the world, it is still a big deal in Nepal. However, I think the return should pay for itself in a few years.

Now when a kid tells the father that they want to go see Mt Everest, the father would just say that it is not accessible. But if there is a highway to Naamche bazaar, he won't have that excuse. 😎

A four lane highway to the Everest Base Camp
