does anyone know if you have B1/B2 visa for say 2 months and comes in USA and can they stay 180 days from the time of entry even after B1/B2 expires?

The i94 expiry date and/or the stamping by the POE officer upon entering the US decides how long one can stay. Usually 180 days but some officer allow for less. It has nothing to do with whether the visa is expiring soon or not.
