I have been hearing that you should apply for Travel document asap if you can before January 20th, do you think it’s a a good idea to apply for travel document advance parole? Since it takes more than 6 months to get approved, and TPS expires in June 2025, next 6 months, is it still a good idea to apply for advance parole?

It would be a disaster to apply AP at this moment .or you can always ask for an emergency AP if urgent. You will have to show the evidence for that . Hospital bata nakkali banau na kagaz

I suggest to do it. You never know when it will be approved. I applied few months ago and got approved in 2 weeks. This was insane. From Texas Service Center where the average time was 22 months or so.. i must say Thank you to couple of sajha users who encouraged me and suggested me what reasons to be used for. It was a normal application and approved in 2 weeks.. so just do it,

@nepaliboy no way, 2 weeks to get Advance Parole approved? So you got your Travel Doc in 2 weeks? I am guessing you can’t apply online, you have to do via mail? 

Sorry, it was different application that was approved in 2 weeks. Here is the proof of advance parole and when it got approved. Not bad huh? From the Texas Service Center where it is showing months and months and months.. and yes, i applied via mail..
