I have been checking out everywhere for cheap ticket to nepal, no luck. Fare starts for $1700............ redeculous.
Let me know if you guys find or know to find less expensive ticket. I guess you cant say cheaper ticket coz $1700 is not cheap in my book.

My visa has expired on August but I have I-20 from the university. Is it good enough for not requiring transit visa for UK or HK?

I have visa till 2009 but not sure . I think you will need the visa both in Uk and HK

Well, Last year when I flew from DFW ( Dallas Fort worth) they charged me $1300 for one way. It was june 2004. I flew Air Cananda so you guys might want to check that out.

Well, flying from nepal to DFW was $800 I think that was a good deal in Mar. 05 but it might be must expensive now since the Gasprice is going on.

Try PIA, they have the best fare and the best route for Nepal from JFK. I'm paying only 1050 RT with only 8 hours in Karachi. PIA is also giving me hotel for free. You can't get better deal than that. Call Malik at 212-867-3588(SMU Travels).

I'm flying for dasain. I think PIA is giving out promotional fare for Nepal so you might be able to get it if you act fast.

I am going in December yar. DEcember is the pack season.
