Friends,

whenever i see some good things in states, It strikes in my mind why can't we do it in nepal? But somehow I feel Most of the youth like you and me were outside or planning to go outside of nepal. I feel at some point we have to stop and think about our country, if we're not in nepal then  how can we contribute to our country that will makes it no different than usa.

I feel over here you will always after money, In student's life you are struggling to pay university tuition, after you graduate and get job you are paying lot's of taxes, and once you buy a house you are stuck to pay mortgage payments for years.

We are used to of US life of systematic and informative society, but you will always strive for money and you have no time for yourself.

Let's hope someday  it will be possible that we'll rather return to our NEPAL.

I agree with you som. I want to go back to Nepal after 10 year of stay here.
My plan is here, maybe you might have similar plan.
I am still a student.
I will graduate in 2 years.
Find a job. Probably buy house (this is for my investment). I might drop this idea of investing money to buy a house. I want to multiply my saving whatever I can save.
Work for 7-8 years here.
Sell the house if any and bring all the saving back home and start the life there.

For sustainable and improved life Nepal, we have to have some reliable source of income. I am thinking about some kind of business investment here so that the dollars will be deposited in the bank and we spend in rupees in Nepal.

Totally agree with all your thoughts.

I am no different from you guys. There isn't a day that goes by without thinking of Nepal and the opportunities to make a difference back home. Like a typical student I started my journey as freshmen. Now I've graduated and hold a job. A job that pays enough to keep my needs fulfilled in this materialistic land. Still, I am far far away from finding that happiness. The happiness that I know I can find back home. My plan is to move to Nepal after I finish my graduate level studies. I strongly believe that our country is in dire need of young leaders, entrepreneurs and role models. One has to be a part of the system to bring changes to it. I hope to see all my friends and colleagues back home one day working to shape our countries future and making a difference.

You guys are worried about the situation of the nation. i am not only concerned about my country but also whole the world. We can see lot of inhuman activities going on around the world in the news. this always give a blow in my mind and make me feel so bad that tears flow thru my eyes. Why the so called UNO and other international nonprofit institutions are acting like  deaf or blind? Why dont they try to resolve the sitauations? but what to do, i cant do anything at this moment.

I too hope to return back one day. But I would also hope a better political environment, stability and peace in Nepal. Things have been worst recently.
