i think it has always been how many supporter you have and which region you belong to.
If the idol is from south .90% south votes goes to the idol ..Who cares what they sing..They are almost alike..in this digital age..they will make you sound whatever they want.

I'm not questioning him; I don't watch the idol show. That is just the link of an article; you gotta click it to read what others are talking about it.

American Idol is all about making a good reality tv-show!! and who would like to watch it if every single of those contestants are of equal-caliber-singers like Chris Doughtery or Melinda or others..The producers are very aware of the fact that the show wont pull 30+ million viewers every week if it doesnt contain entertaining contestants like Sanjaya!!!

So its not about his hair-style,his white suit, his bald-dad or whatever!!!! Its all about entertainment.
and everyone knows I am as horrible in singing as he is!!!!

crap!!!!...he may be cute looking with different hairdos that he manages to come up with in each show and his ever green "binaca" smile which he never seizes to put on but the matter of the fact is he is not a singing material--PERIOD! and if i were him, i wouldn't feel too bad about it coz singing is a talent which must come by birth to some extent. you can polish the skill overtime but you cannot acquire it altogether by practicing.

the dude has some star quality but nahhhh not in singing. he may wanna try hollywood or sth if he's good at acting but c'mon the kiddo simply can't sing! hell i can even train my doggy sing better than him :P

the show is all about popularity and voting and that's why he's there coz he's popular but no singer.

no offense to his fan but that's the reality and yeah it bites at times :P

i got bored watching him sing so that's why i went a bit too much about it. :P. i mean c'mon what do you watch american idol for? just coz he's" brown" doesn't mean we have to go about supporting people for something which is definitely deserved by somebody else. he will get my full points for his courage and passion for singing and for his energy but c'mon yar, it's not a mockery show or is it---it's a singing competition :-)
