Guys, need a suggestion. We live in a sue-happy country, and people can lose their life's saving in an instant. Though I do not have any creditors in the current time, I still want to protect myself from unseen misfortunes in the future. I hear banks and financial institutions in Delaware are judgement proof, meaning any ordinary creditors will not be able to pull money out of it. Now, my question is: do any of you have experience with banking in delaware, can you suggest me some good banks. Also, are they strict about being a resident of delaware (do they need proof of address) because i live in TX. I did go to some CPAs. Some suggested opening up a trust, creating LLC. Anybody here has such experience. I would want to know from someone who has actually done it. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
