Nirmala Subedi, one of the victims of Alabama Car Accident, is recovering day by day. She has still problem with speech & left hand. Her brother Dhruba Raj Subedi is also with her in Alabama. After a long treatment in Hospital & Rehab Center, she couldn't gain proper fitness. Her left part is not working properly. One of the Nepalese Student Associations (NSA) at Troy University had been active in raising funds for her help and support. It was a good initiation though! Unfortunately I got to know from her brother that she hasn't received a penny from that fund. NSA Troy claims that the fund collected for her help has been kept under the medical fund of the University. She wont get anything from that personally. Is this fair? We have donated for her, not for Medical fund of the University. We would appreciate if she could get something from that fund for her temporary stay in Alabama till last appointment in hospital. We pray for her quick recovery and wish her Get Well Soon!

. Dear all, With the all controversies going on, I would like to clarify following on behalf of StaticNepal team.As a fellow Nepalese, when we heard about the accident of our friends at Troy Troy Alabama,we were deeply moved and initiated the fund raising on the behalf of injured. But for any charity transactions, it should be made accountable so, we just perform as a base for raising the amount of money on behalf of NSA, Troy University. The raised amount was then transferred to the Nepalese Students Medical Benefit, Troy Bank and Trust Co., Troy, Alabama. The fund thereafter is being handled by the NSA and Troy university henceafter. I hope this clarifies everything. We will continue our support to those students and friends. With best regards, Troy Fundraising StaticNepal.com

MN_guy and chicago bulls. U guys making big issues out of it without knowing anything. How you guys know what Troy is doing and not doing?.....i dont think talking on phone with Nirmala's brother will help.....have you guys ever tried to contact University to make it clear why all these things going on?...dont you think there are certain rules n regulations that might have to be followed.........i do appreciate that u guys really do care about Nirmala and we do too. But the thing is, the way u guys making issue is not right. If you are really interested and really want to do something, why dont you get urself here and find out whats really going on. Its easy to make comments here and make a topic for gossip. come into ACTION.

StaticNepal has to name the person from NSA-Troy who told him that the fund is being distributed bi-weekly. Its the money that WE donated to the victim. He can not hide the identity of the person who gave him that information. He has to scan a copy of the proof that he transferred the money to TROY people, and post it on this thread... after that, we need to contact the TROY management about this issue...... All of us who donated .... should email TROY about this issue. StaticNepal can not be left alone, unless he takes these steps.... he has to name the person that he is in touch with..... and has to show us the proof about where he transferred the money. Scan the tranfer receipt and post it online.... and we, nepalese should email troy about what is going on...

And somebody from NSA-TROY has to post a scanned copy of the check that has been sent out to the victims every two weeks.... if they really have been doing it. For that we need to know the name of the person who StaticNepal has been in contact with. It was a fund donated by the public, and everything has to be crystal clear.... this kinda controversy should not arrive. I do not know... did StaticNepal even handed over the fund to the Troy People?? Can he scan and post the proof?? Or name the person at Troy, who is responsible of the fund?? Or even Name himself?? Whats up with this StaticNepal shit? Name yourself bud, and show us the proof and tell us who you sent the money to, and who you have been in touch with?? We nepalese, who donated the money need to get this issue resolved. No one is gonna donate for the same cause again and again! Guys with websites, and associations..... lets not take this issue as a joke. Somebody ate up some thousand dollars, and you guys with organization is gonna set up another fund??? is this a joke or something?? set up a help fund whenever you like?? so StaticNepal should totally be involved in this. we trusted him, and donated the money through him. the victim has not received the money yet so he is responsible to tell us and show us the proof that the money went to Troy Thats all... ... being a struggling nepali, i can not let my money go in drain....

So allright Sagar, i was talking to somebody that knows your team ... I trust him.... So I am sure that the money went to the right place..... But, after all this controversy, it is your responsibility to show the "people" the proof that the money went to the right place... ... and since I trusted you on the girl getting all that help... now, you have to act... in getting the money to the right place... we can try... call the university... talk to them... about this issue... probably, these ppl in troy... did not understand.. and handed over the money to some fund... so the college now cant give away the money..... so, we "the ppl who donated" the money should talk to them.... and the "sagar" the staticnepal dude.. and his team... should get in touch with them... and resolve the issue...

every body here are so pathetic blaming and pointing at person for everything...this is full of shit...somebody came forward and tried helping friends...and this is the thank you that all Nepalese people gave him.....i know Sagar and who he is and what he did for this fund raising...and i know Nirmala and his brother as well... his brother is a the asshole who started all this..that asshole is living on his sisters money and making this a big deal asking for more..ask him to come forward and tell the people what troy has done for his sister when he was taking care of his business in time of need...20 days she stayed in coma and he dint even wanted to come to troy Nirmala and he was offered place to stay...they he decided that it was too dirty..this is all about money..there is no humanity..there is no help...all these people raising controversies want to bring out more...i feel sorry for all the accident victims that they are being made a part of big joke and "TYPICAL" nepalese politics... Sagar my personal thank you to you for all the hard work and dedication you did in this fund raising..i hope you continue doing it..you dont have to prove anything to anybody...all these people don't know shit and they wont understand..they think the goodwill donation they made was investment so need to see profit and loss statement to see how there investment went...all right i think i talked enough as i felt disgusted reading all this in here..Nirmala hope you feel better and speak for you own because these people are just making joke of you at the moment..stop this shit!!

Dear all, The fund-raising for the Troy accident victims were all done in good faith by us. When there were nobody coming forward for noble cause to help the students we setup paypal account just to raise the fund for the victims. We never knew that that work done in good faith would raise such a controversies. We just provided the base as the fundraiser for the NSA, Troy and then the raised amount was transferred to the Nepalese Student Benefit Fund, Troy. Of all the amount, 2300$ was transferred through the check and 1247 $ was deposited personally to that account. After the fund being transferred, we have been in contact with NSA officials about the allocation of the fund, and we were informed that it was being done as per need basis. For further detail about the fund allocation you can directly contact [email protected]. We will continue our support to the needy Nepalese as we did this time in good faith. We remain sincerely, StaticNepal team.

When I first saw the fundraiser at www.staticnepal.com, I could not help it but to post the link here so that message could reach a broader mass. San dai put it as sticky note and the fundraiser took the pace. I have been good friends with staticnepal teams and know what they are. They don't need to do the cheap business as you all have doubted to make their living. They did all the things in good faith, and even they tried their best to look for charitable organization who could help Nirmala. All the time there was no Dhruba or whoever bringing the controversies. The staticnepal team tried their best without wanting anything in return. But if you can not thank for all what they did, at least don't point your fingers for some good works. This is just pathetic to see all the people pointing fingers and making controversies of good works. Use your mind before speaking. And get your facts straight.
