Holy shit , I've seen people approved withing 2-3 months This site shows that application filed around September have started to receive their approval. https://www.permchecker.com/this-week I have TPS and have filed for AP , I'm wanting to travel to Nepal and WFH for about 3 month. My Labour was filed in august , Not sure if I should wait for the labour approval and file I140 / 485 and travel on the 485 AP ...... The wait is painful.

My labor was approved within 2 months of filing date. It was filed at the end of July this year and got approved on mid September. Filed i140(premium) and i485 concurrently about 3 weeks ago. i140 got approved in less than 2 weeks. Now waiting for i485.

It is in NSC. My packet reached there on Nov 4th. I got the receipts in mail on Nov 11th. You should receive yours too shortly.

Sajha keto, how do you know if your package reached in TSC(texas service center) without getting the receipt ? employer usually send the package to dallas lockbox (if you are from east coat) or phoenix lockbox (if you are from west coast) from where uscis routes the package to either nebraska service center or texas service center, isn't it? that is what my understanding was, please help make it clear.

@fdpower My employer filed i140 after little less than 2 months of PERM approval. I485 was filed concurrently. I honestly do not know much about filing for dependent. Someone else can probably give you better advise on that.

someone please make my below confusion clear how do you know if your package reached in TSC(texas service center) without getting the receipt ? employer usually send the package to dallas lockbox (if you are from east coat) or phoenix lockbox (if you are from west coast) from where uscis routes the package to either nebraska service center or texas service center, isn't it? if this is the case you have no control to send your package to NSC or TSC . that is what my understanding was, please help make it clear.

I filed for both myself and spouse. If you don't want your wife to get GC anytime soon or if you want her to stay back home for a while, then you file for yourself only.

@Nepalisajha3 I don't think there is any definite way to say which one is faster besides going by the processing time in USCIS website. Currently, NSC shows processing time as April 2, 2016 and TSC shows March 23, 2016 for I485. But every case is different. So some may get processed faster than the others regardless of which service center. We just have to sit tight and wait I guess.
