Hey friends There would be a protest really in the NY city on Sept 16th. Please join us and let?s show our support to our Nepali brothers and sisters who are protesting unelected leader?s undemocratic actions. It is expected that king would be UN giving a hypocritical speech.

Coffee You I guess drink coffee but think as pop smoker. Who said USA is not republic. I guess you need ask some of your coffee drinking friends. They might prove you wrong and you might find you as moron. I am saying all Nepali should have power to choose head of state and I guess u might come under all Nepali and it seems you support one family should have that right. Under my thinking you could be leader of Nepal and under your thinking you would be bowing Paras or his son of even his dog

NK, There have been some Sajhaites who have made it a point to strongly disagree with the views that conincide with mine, yet they present their arguments in a very respectful manner. In the past, some of the prominent ones have been Isolated Freak, Lokman, et al. More recently, and particularly in this thread, PSC and 132569 have exhibited similar highly respectful arguments against those who oppose the King. Even though I strongly disagree with their views, I have utmost respect for them, for they make it enjoyable to discuss ISSUES that provoke REAL thoughts. Others like BRCoffee, who spills filth in almost every sentence he utters, and worse, CHOR (formally known as GorkhaliX), the most GHATIYA of all I have encountered in Sajha thus far, have,to say the least, hit my "best-when-ignored" list. (BTW, I forgot to mention this earlier: It was aghastly disdainful to see you group yourself with the two mentioned here.) You, on the other hand, rise just a little above the second group of individuals, for you refrain from vulgarity and personal slanders. I respect that. Nonetheless your repulsive argumentative style is reflective on the fact that you are mostly too CONDESCENDING. The peril of such negative style of arguing is that even some of the very valid points -- of which you certainly have aplenty -- consequently go largely ignored. It is good to know that you enjoy my lighter side, though. Perhaps we both would feel much more comfortable -- and it certainly would be healthy for our cyber friendship -- if we limited our interactions to my lighter side, i.e., Poonte. :)

Anti monarqi It is inetresting to see you leading anti monarchy protest in NY. It would be yet more interesting to see who all are taking part under your able leadership. Anil Shahi Ji - I also enjoy discussing in healthy manner, but some time it is frutrating to discuss people like anti monarqi, who does not even use common sense to understand the depth of the discussion.

PSC What is there to big thing to understand? We are not talking about great mystery of solar system nor are we talking about genetic science. I guess we are not talking about Rocket science too. We are talking about the freedom desire to be live free and die freely. Even given chance to animal wants walk freely. We are human being and we want to choose our head of state. So where is the complication to understand? By the way when this king dad impose the so called pancyat democracy he had most of educated people in his cabinet. Some of them even USA educated. So don?t be that state of mind only educated people could have answer of everything. Of course educated people can twist and turn thing but they can?t change the fact. The fact is republican democracy for Nepali

Anti monarqi- Obviously it is not rocket science but I would like to see how and whom you will lead in NY. Before you comment anything about Mahendra era, you must analyze the sitaution that led to happen 2017 Poush incident. You can not compare the level of development from 2017 to 2027 with any period. Before you disagree, you better review the history of Nepal. Coming back to your agenda of "republic democracyl", (which is an official demand of Maoists' Party only) - good luck to you. I don't know what kinds of freedom that you are talking about? There has to be balance between freedom, rules of law, discipline and moral ethics. In the context of Nepal, did you see these after 2046? You have never answered my question - which one is Nepal's priority at the moment? - peace or republic Nepal? You might be in the USA where you are laest bothered about daily dying and suffering, but if you ask this question to even your parents who are living in Nepal - you will get right answer. If your parents are active political activists then you may not get answer which represnts the feeling of ordinary people; instead you will get echo of Girija, Makune, Deuba, Prachanda only. You better see the NTV news clips from the website starting today and get back to me.

Anil, I went back and read my posting to see what did you find so condesnscending and "repulsive." Anil, I cannot help with that. That is my writing style, nothing more. If you have read my other posts, perhaps you would not have minded it so much. I did not mean to be condescending. Sorry.

The man...who would parade himself in the name of democrasy and freedom is also a BIGOT. So you think people who spill fith are not worth your time huh ! Well Senor Poonte under your banner of free speech and demoquashiii ...AHEM we also have the equal right to say what ever we want(just like your meaningless demonstration) It was agastly disdainfull to see you group yourself with those OPPERTUNISTIC POLITICIANS IN THE LAST DEMOSTRATION TOO..he he

NK, Wow ! So you have been rallying against Nepe in the thread. But the point is that, NK dear, the Nepes at home and abroad overwhelmingly outnumbers the NKs. Nepes are in majority, confident and moving forward. NKs are in minority, disparate and getting smaller and smaller. Look at the sea of Nepes in Kathmandu. In recent time, Kathmandu saw three largest ever rallies after Feb 1 in a row, all by Nepes and all pro-republican. The first one was organized by political parties and the last two by Civic society. (mind that when parties were expressing their commitment to the monarchy before, they could hardly bring a few dozens of people in the street. But when they showed their tilt towards the republicanism, more than 15,000 people came to the street !). Two civic society rallies followed that which were attended by more than 10,000 people. NKs of Kathmandu can only dream of these big rallies. In the US, Nepes were three times more in number than NKs in DC not long ago. And you are going to see the same or even better story in NYC. So, NK dear, you are fighting a losing war. Admit it. Only then we shall talk about how best to prepare ourselves to mourn the end of the monarchy. - http://www.blog.com.np/?p=802

Psc Ji I don?t watch NTV everyday. I watch it time to time. Of course there need be balance between freedom and rules of law. But the question is why some have to be above the law. Why some one has to go to jail denouncing the system. If one has to go to jail denouncing the monarchy system why shouldn?t one go to jail denouncing democracy. I am simply saying everyone has to be under the law. And we can achieve that under republican democracy. By the way all the people who demand republican democracy are not Mao?s. One doesn?t have to Mao to support republican democracy. As I said before peace with fear won?t long lasting. As far as my family concern they want to live free and peace. And only democracy would give that chance. There are some postings here to scared people not to attend the protest. Again I don?t know who would be NY and I am not leading anything I am just a protestor among may be thousand or hundreds I don?t know. By the way no one from my family is in politics.

Yup, most more photos. Tell others "you are fighting a loosing (you mean losing, i know a lot of people trip on that word) war" write gazals. Go on to circular argument. Quote your own dudhko sachi biraloesque sites. Coerce others to "Admit it." Did you learn that in your Akhil days, nepe dahling? How about one or two naras? how about skinning people?

See NK, how a simple news from ground zero reduces you to a mere spell-checker. So, I will be expecting you to come and check the spellings of our 'nara' in NY on 16th Sept, then ? Re skinning, those seas of people in the picture are the one who bears the real brunt of abuse from "skinning" in the village to "gang-raping and murdering" in the army barrack and therefore knows better than you and me do what they want and what they have to do. Admit this too.

Nepali janta bheda hun. 15 years after fighting for democracy in the streets of kathmandu. The crowd is back in the streets asking for the same thing. The politicians back then used to promise them democracy, the bhedas got a big DO YA KWASHI on their face. Now the Politicians are promising "democratic republic". I bet 90% of the crowd doesn't even know what that means.
