It seems like a few people have been making accusations against sajha based on their own standards of judgment, accusing sajha every other day of being 'maoist supporter', 'baburam supporter', 'terrorist supporter'.
I have nothing but empathy at their naivete and their penchant to make blanket accusations to satisfy their own self interests.
These kinds of accusations are to be expected and even appreciated because it gives me an opportunity to explain the beauty of sajha once in a while!
Lot of people have stuck to sajha since it's inception 10 year ago and they, as well as the sajha archives stand as witness to the numerous accusations hurled at sajha.com and myself. During the royal regime, sajha/myself were accused to be the royal supporters many times. At the same time, sajha was also being accused as Maoist supporters by few. It is understandable why they make accusations but people need to grow up and see the big picture.
The first email that users get, indicates as a first rule, the sajha policy of not supporting personal propaganda. Sajha is there as a tool to help people using the combined intelligence and experience of all visitors here. When one individual or one small group of individuals start using sajha as their own personal vehicle of expressing and imposing their views on others on a continuous basis, it undermines the usefulness of sajha because, then, to regular or new sajha visitors, it seems like sajha is all about these peoples personal propaganda.
Hence, if it becomes clear that the only reason you are in sajha is to propagate your own personal propaganda and/or views by posting the same/similar content multiple times in a continuous basis, then sajha will have to try to warn you about it. But because sajha gives anonymity, it gives a boost of cyber ego, which gets bruised when sajha sends that warning. Then you indulge in a propaganda against Sajha declaring it as ANTI - (insert your cause here).
On top of that, 2 or 3 users will make their personal judgment seem like national concensus by posting the same thing over and over or by keeping a certain thread alive. In this case, makalekancha, collegefootballrocks and nagarikreport seems to be the ones who are proliferating this baseless accusations.
The fact that sajha did not delete any of your comments so far shows that sajha is not against your views that is expressed in a respectful discussion. If your postings start being abusive to other's families for not agreeing with you, if you start re-repeating your same statements in different threads, then you will hear from sajha. Sajha is not about you alone.
Some of you might remember, even NAS got banned from sajha for trying to make sajha all about him. Re-repeating posts after posts on his own greatness, indulging in a personal propaganda of self promotion.
Anyways, I hope now, you understand that sajha does not support any particular political group per se, but individual actions that empower Nepal and Nepalis.

San,
Got a question for you. How exactly are the terms "bah.uni", "magar.ni" etc castists? Everytime someone types those names, they get flagged as inappropriate.

San Dai:
Don't you think people are trying to promote Maoism more than any other "ism" here in sajha these days? Couldn't see people fighting in context of Congress, UML, RPP etc., but why is this maoism always creating a problem in here? I know some of them are using ultra nehative words against Maoists (which should be minimized) but I don't think it is a good idea that you ignore the fact that people trying to disseminate maoism view over here. Just my thoughts. Hopefully, you aren't biased in this context and evaluate both sides fairly. Thanks

From sajha experience, it has been seen time and again that anytime there is a reference to castist words such as ba.hun, ne.war, bh.ote, and what not, the discussions starts degrading to a full fledged castist war.
In order to prevent such incidents I have set those words to auto replace upon post. At the time I activated these castist filters, there were as many as 4 threads on homepage on anti ba.hun/anti ne.war//anti other sentiments. After the filters these things have decreased significantly. I don't think it's possible to have a respectful/productive discussion about caste using anonymous nicknames. That's why the filters.

Let me just say that it is those "censoring" activities that keeps Sajha sane and makes me come back again and again. Little bit of censoring can be a good thing.

(Sorry San dai
Since controversy and conspiracy theories seems to only make sajha more interesting and popular, I was wondering if I may contribute to it:. If you keep replying in threads like this San dai, Sajha is going to be the Nepali Jerry Springer show )
OK, here is my 2 cent commentary and filmy dialogue:
"I am surprized that many of you have not figured out. If San is the Christ of Sajha. Nas was the anti-christ. Nas is, after all, San spelled backward. Coincidence? I think not.
Look at Nas's posts and you will find it quite similar to the way SAN dai writes.
In the same way that the Royal Palace in the late 90's funded and created the Maoists as a propoganda tool, in the same way San created the avatar of NAS purposefully to raise controversy to make sajha into a popular website. SAN and NAS are the same person! Now that sajha has gained a certain level of popularity, SAN has decommissioned the avatar of Nas. He had served his time and his purpose was fulfilled.
If NAS couldn't even make it, what hope is there for the rest of you villains ?
Repent! Repent oh Villains! Repent. Bow down to the Christ of Sajha. Surrender and perhaps your souls will be saved. Accept the Christ of Sajha, San, as your lord and savior. Otherwise be banished to hell for eternity. Mu ha ha ha ha ha (evil laughter.)

Some people think they are really smart. I mean really really smart, smarter than anyone in this world but in reality there are nothing more than an idiot who even can't figure out the direction. That's the main reason they imagine things in their head and come up with their own logic. During the five years of sajha(since i started visiting it), all i know is its a platform for us(specially
those who are outside of nepal) too meet and share little and small things that matters to us.I don't know about the others but for me its not controvery that's brings me over here, to be specific, its the thread with stories, gajals, asking for help, getting help, sharing the experience, education that makes me keep visiting again and again. I am really glad to know that some users are banned
to post and thats the main reason we are seeing some good users rising on the other hand. These good users are the people we need here in sajha, not all those junks who can't do anything better than pulling legs and acquising others. People always find a way to modify the words and i don't get surprised by seeing such action. I fully support what san dai is doing and really glad to see those junks are out of here. And here is one thing to all of you "If you are a hater and hate me then don't bother coming close to me." So if you don't like sajha then just don't come here
as simple as that.
Peace

Hey San dai,
Thanks for your clarification ( or warning?) against some of the recent accusations made against Sajha. I have always considered Sajha as the common platform to express ideas, views and oponions for all Nepalese people carrying different ideology and also share the information. But sometimes when a group of people want all of us to support their ideas and tagged as supporter of terrorist and criminals otherwise, I can't digest it all and start to post against them. Please let me know if you feel I am attacking someone personally. Because I enjoyed this platform of Sajha and don't want to get banned

Gabbar singh,
You have a valid observation in saying that people are trying to promote maoism more than anything in sajha thesedays.
You might be right and you might be wrong. I haven't looked at the percentage of maoism supporting post versus other 'ism' supporting posts to be able to give you a factual answer but I can say that sajha has normally followed the norm of general interest.
I think it is only a natural progression of things for Nepalis to hope for a better future with the current PM. So it is only logical that people post their hopes from the new leadership. Perhaps, BRB does not perform as hoped then it would not be surprising to see posts in sajha supporting other 'ism's that people have hope for.
Also, as I have indicated, and someone else has also hinted, the language used to promote one's belief may be grounds for banning if utter disrespect is shown towards others disagreeing with the poster.
HomeyJi that's a nice fictional story you have written. Very entertaining! If I was Nas I would probably copy paste the good attributes you have written about me after every one of my posts. LOL.
GT your responses have not hit my radar as possible intolerant behavior/propaganda so we're all good :)
I won't be able to answer everyone's queries but if something is very important I may respond.
Have a good week!

San Dai:
I am not seeking the answer for this but these "ism" discussion in sajha has not erupted only recently (after BRB was declared PM), but maoisms advertisement were seen frequently in sajha once in a while by different usernames. I was just wondering why only the concerns about maoisms erupt here and other "isms" are kinda quiet. Too many posts in promoting maoism had even raised my anger level in the past and I probably had some bitter conversations but you should have monitoring system (as you are doing now which i do appreciate) all the times for these sorts of unhealthy promotions here in sajha (which ultimately is a democratic forum and one can legitimately express his/her feelings), unlike terrorists motivated and conducted website, unfamely known as mysansar.com. Sabai Nepali ko jaya hos!!!

Thank you San dai for this :-) Now i hope of family wouldnt be scolded for writting somthing on sajha.
Gabber Singh , I thought you are thinking like nagarikreport , college kunni k and makalekancha that I am maoist and promoting Maoism on Sajha. Dude, if you have read my post on every other post I have been saying I am not supporter of any political parties. If I was I will open threads for Maoist and Baburam saying Maobad jindabad , Baburam Amar rahum :-P
As all sajha users i also have right to open threads and write whatever i can , thats what i did. Its not like that i will write somthing over here and i will be supporter of that and its also not like that i will not write about somthing and i will not be supporter .
Grow up dude. Horlick khau !

facebook bro: When and where did I say that it is you who promoted maoism? Please cite me where did I say that. I was talking about some older posts and you are just blaming me for no reason. Now, whether you are or not, seems like you are maoist (and a hardcore) and could not hear anything bad about maoist. Grow up dude, I also know the how to play the blaming game and shatter someone with personal attack, but like San Dai said, it is not a perfect place to do that. If you do not belong to jungle family, you probably understand what I mean, rest is upon you. God bless you.

San,
Observing your writing, you do seem to be hopeful from Maoists/Terrorists though? Isn't it clear that you are biased and that could be a reason why a deal under the table may have happened for using Sajha.com to advertise Maoism/Terrorism?

Copying it here, but this message was important to be trasmitted.
_________
Those who say they have forgotten the brutal killings of their family will not be cold blooded like this and support terrorism if it was really true. You must be either Babuam Bhattarai himself or one who gets paid to post.
Even if you are the real victim and you are the new Avatar of Buddha, you may forgive Baburam and his terrorist group; but who in the world gave you authority to forgive these terrorists on behalf of all the victims? I don't forgive and almost 100% will not.
What did you get from Maoists/Terrorists in exchange of your father's corpse? Rs. 10,000?
Are you willing to forgive Terrorist baburam bhattarai for killing your father because you got the luxury of Green Card in US through Asylum? Did you pray that your father be killed so that you can file for asylum?
Doesn't it sound brutal now?
Killing of a human being is not politics, it is terrorism and terrorists deserve to die. These is no hope from terrorists of Nepal; they must bee executed. Period.
