Metalgal, thats not a good solution and it aint gonna do any good for both of you.I know how it feels when sb is goin through this phase.Its all the matter of time,believe me and dont act stupid.If sb doesnot care you/love you,do u c any point to be after that person???you guys watch too many bollywood movies and keep hoping your dear ones r gonna come back.Its real world and unfortunately it doesn't happen.If u really wanna forget sb,start making a distance from those objects,situations that would remind u of that person.What most of we do is keep thinking,trying to figure out wat went wrong and where???I bet these are the things that resides inside ur head which creates a state of mental turmoil.Don't think its the end of the world.You dont need to panic just because sb doesnot care about u,rememeber there is always another who do care about u.
   You guys might think i m being too hypothetical or literal but i have been through that phase some time ago.I used to hang out with this gurl a lot when I was back home.She was a pretty gurl whom every guys in my vicinity wanna date.We were together for a while(not in a defined relation) and it really didnt work for me.I really liked her and I was so thankful to god that I was around her.At that moment I thought she was my life.Never thought  how would i manage my life if i wont get her????So,this is my point: she meant a lot to me.Time passed by and a day came when i decide I need to move alone.I was just focusing on her one aspect i.e.physical beauty but finally that didnt matter at all.It was not an easy task . Things started getting hard for me but I tried to avoid her in every possible way.I wouldnot talk to her until I encounter her infront of me..Fortune or misfortune,I was in the same college but never bothered to have any conversation with her coz i knew thats gonna bring some changes in my impulses.I was a bit "weird" for some time as my fren's quote but who cares???I knew wat was good for me so i did.I wont do anything just to look good dragging me inside a pool of stress and turmoil.No doubt,I still love her,like her but I dont want her.

My formula is do not try to forget. Bcoz opposite attracts. So, if you try to forget, it would be even more vivid all those beutiful moments with her. Instead you can rejoice all of those past experiences in present and pretend you still have her in your heart, where noone can peep through. Actually, she would be inseparable in your system, then you don't feel like forgetting, it would be normal after few days or a month. Take it easy!

Ok, here is my suggestion: You CAN'T not think about her. Period. Unless you get that memory-wiping mojo from Will Smith in Men in Black or volunteer to be a guinea pig for Alzheimer's research. Live with it. Actively trying to forget makes it worse. Things will happen in your life and eventually, the desire to be with her goes away. Forget her, you NEVER will.
