Hey Guys,
we have done whatever we need to do. we have completed our study and found out the Job. Moreover we have applied for the H1B.Unfortunately we have to face the lottery system due to overapplication. Congratulation for those who have been selected for that . But no need to disappoint those who have not selected. So think about solution instead of worrying about that.Everything happens for the good .
If you have completed undergraduate, think about the Post graduate.
If you have already completed Master degree think about the canadian PR and visit the given below link to test whether you are qualify or not:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/Education.asp
All the best.
If you have more Plan Bs please share to everybody.
Thanks

This is very difficult to think about Plan B. I have struggled back in Nepal to get some standard, came to US with startup at zero level and next Canada? And there is another start up with even from negative level. My Plan B is go back to Nepal, forget everything about US and continue the life as usual assuming the US life was dream which is over in the morning wake up.

Parbatya, been there done that. You never know where you will end up one day. The challenge is to keep focus and not lose sense of purpose in life.

Let's hope. Now the theory has been chnged as

Folks,
I am still wondering why you people's eyes are not opened yet??? What's wrong with Canadian PR? Just try to compare US life and Canadian life. What you get and what did not you get? How many years you spent in US and now you being frustated now? If you really wise person, go to Canadian website and file for PR right away and enjoy life every second you humilated in US. For now, Canada is much much better than US. I hope you going to settle within two year once you land in Canada. What it means, you get job, buy home, stay with family and enjoy your life. What else you need? Is this possible these in US for next 5 years?? Impossible!
"North is better than South" - you better know. If you heading down - go to south, that's what people say. So, think NORTH, apply PR and enjoy every second of life. Don't delay. This is excellent advise for those moran who not selected for H1B. Don't waste time there!!

Your US degree is a proof of your proficiency of language. I hope you don't have to. Just submit without proficiency language certficate. But ensure your US degree is included. If that needed they will ask for the proof. I did not submit though.

PLAN-B
If you are able to get the job in non profit organizations ( eg.University, UN etc), you can apply for H1B at any time( No need to wait for April and no Cap apply for that).
All the Best.

SRZS,
You have to obtain police record from Nepal and FBI report from US. I believe you need recent police record from Nepal - aleast current year.

Betterbetter,
It's all true. In fact many Engineer, doctors from third countries (india, pakistan, Egipt) are working like that. But up to you , how to prove yourself you are capable to do your job. YOU DON'T GET SIMILAR PEOPLE WORKING USA TOO? Obviously there too.

About the English language proficiency: I did both my undergraduate and graduate schooling from US. Even with theese, the Canadian immigration sent me a letter stating I need to prove my english language proficiency. I wrote them back stating I did my colleges in US. All the courses were taught in English. I also sent a copy of my old TOEFL score. The TOEFL score was from 1992 and my Canadian immigration process was done in 2006/ 2007. So to answer your question: NO, you don't need to take any proficiency test if you have US college degree. I hope this helps.
Cheers
