From Kathmandu Post: Help me! I am a Nepali student and have recently come to Netherlands for my higher studies. I arrived at Amsterdam Airport on 25 June and was forced to stay at the airport for 3 hours. During my stay at the airport, all my documents including my passport , travel cheque and my acadamic certificates were stolen. I immediately reported the theft to the police but there was not much response about my problem. I have no money or passport to return to Nepal. And, my college as well as Nepali ex-students have refused to help me. Please suggest me what I should do. Prabhat Paudel Khurkot -2, Parbat,

What do you mean college and ex-students refused to help you? Where are you staying right now? Did you lose all your belongings too or is it the documents alone which you lost? Well police also can search for your documents but they cannot be blamed for not being able to find out. However, the college should be able to help you. Travellers cheque can be cancelled. So, cancel them first. May be they already used them. There are a lot of things which you need to tell before we can say anything. Moreover, talk to the people who are studying there in your college now.
