November 6, 2024 Twelve days ago, I posted this thread with the headline predicting Donald Trump's win in the 2024 election. The question is: how could I be so sure? Here's the thing- if you can't analyze this election yourself, then maybe it's time to question that graduate degree of yours. Just watching the media isn't enough; you've got to be smart-street smart, not just book smart. I spoke with a Nepali Adjunct professor from Auburn University. He acted like he knew everything and spent an hour lecturing me and my husband on how the Democrats would win. He looked down on my support for MAGA and seemed to think I was just uneducated hick. I opened my mouth to respond, but my husband just sat quietly, nodding his head. So much for winning: - strait of Hormuz is still largely closed - Iran’s government is still in power - 18 dead and 756 wounded U.S. military casualties - $45 billion spent so far on utterly unncessary war - U.S. military infrastructure struck throughout the Gulf and repairing them would cost at least $5 billion - Global oil supply is more than 5 million barrels a day below pre war levels - Commercial shipping took a massive beating - enormous CIVILIAN infrastructure damage in Iran - Inflation rose from 2.9% pre-war to 4.2% now - Energy prices are up 15%, Gas prices 25%, Electricity and natural gas 4% Where these maga sheep now?
